Teacher bio

Neha Singh has been practicing yoga since she was a child, when she was first introduced to the benefits of pranayama for allergies. Neha spent a year working 1:1 with an instructor from Kaivalyadhama, the oldest Yoga Institute in the world, for a year in Mumbai. Upon moving back to the United States, she further pursued her education through completion of the 500 Hour RYT training at Yoga Garden in San Francisco. Her training focused on teaching vinyasa flow classes with a strong focus on alignment, as well as various other styles (restorative, aromatherapy). She completed training on June 2, 2019.

Neha is known for her strong emphasis on theming, and exploring ways to draw awareness to alignment even in foundational postures. She leverages humor and restorative poses to counteract the stresses of everyday life and shift perspective. She sees yoga as a lifelong practice of self-discovery and healing and cultivates a safe yoga practice that is sustainable throughout life.

In her spare time, Neha enjoys reading and is an avid book club participant.
